Jacobo and Maria Angeles Workshop: Natural Pigment Sea Turtle #10 (2009)

The Jacobo and Maria Angeles Workshop is going on thirty years of amazing evolution. Given how they have skyrocketed as premier artists at home and away we rarely see work from them. They have presented and curated their premier art at the Vatican, Rockefeller Plaza, botanical gardens and numerous countries across the globe. That said we have been proud to have had a very small part in the history of the workshop doing shows with them nearly 15 years ago and have stayed connected and watched in amazement. This Sea Turtle from 2009 swam back to us recently and can be purchased at a fraction of the cost of today’s prices. A great way to add their early work to your collection. The piece is signed and dated and features their trademark Zapotec design motifs painted in natural pigments.
