Olga Quezada: Rare Wedding Vase

A rare find. Olga stopped making her ever-popular pots in recent years. Olga Quezada, unrelated to Juan Quezada, built a lucrative career solely on her famous eggshell-thin wedding vases with a fine polished finish. This standard checkerboard design (with Xs or without) is all she ever uses, alternating the shapes of the bridges and the openings (mouths). Always a popular seller, Olga’s pots were once found throughout the U.S. Southwest in galleries and in private collections.
