Salvador Baca and his wife, Virginia Lazoya, are one of the best teams from Mata Ortiz. Virginia makes eggshell-thin pots, and Salvador finishes with his clean, precise painting. The burnish (polish) is excellent, but the camera doesn’t do it justice. A wonderful husband-and-wife duo.
