Jacobo and Maria Angeles Workshop: Museum Quality Hanging Bell Monkey #2 (Moño Campana #2)

A premier museum piece from the workshop of Jacobo and Maria Angeles. Always taking their artistry to new levels. This hanging masked bell monkey is no exception. Nothing short of what I would call Zapotec Modern Art. Just over 3 feet tall this is well deserving to be showcased in a collection and masterfully created from the premier workshop in Oaxaca. Featuring their trademark Zapotec design motifs painted in natural pigments, Includes a certificate of authenticity. This was made to be part of an exhibition in Mérida, Yucatan called “Detrás de una máscara” (Behind the mask). All the pieces feature mask elements and it was quite stunning hanging there.
